- Vanilla Extract is up 35%, now costing an average of £5 for a 50ml bottle.
- Butter has increased by 30%, with a 250g block now priced at £3.50 on average.
- Eggs are rising by 25%, with a pack of six free-range eggs now averaging £2.40.
- Sugar had gone up by 20%, reaching 90p per kilogram.
- Flour has had the smallest increase at 15%, now costing 80p per kilogram.
- ¼ cup of yoghurt = 1 egg
- ½ mashed banana = 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp baking soda = 1 egg
